“Installation has been defined by its refusal to accept fixed boundaries. Ernesto Neto has incorporated his work with an architectural perspective by articulating spaces in buildings representing bodily membranes. The works are highly sensual and the experience that is created is heightened by the aroma of turmeric or cloves which visitors take in before the installation itself.
